One of the things I’ve tried to do as I go through this blog is to write vaguely enough about people that even someone who knows me and reads the blog would have a hard time pin-pointing the specific individuals to whom I refer. There are something like eight or nine different managers at the retail store I work at, so when I say “my boss,” it refers to any of a number of people - none of whom are chronic offenders in terms of generating blog posts.

That said, no, I typically don’t mention to folks when I blog about them, but if something has got me really irritated, I will bring up the issue with the person in question so that we can resolve it.
