It's good advice to pay attention to the message in the complaint email or letter because that's the important part that you need to pay attention to. Nobody does themselves any favours by being insulting. However if they have taken the time to put a complaint in they are doing you a favour because it's an opportunity to make your business better. Lots of work experience may or may not give you the skills to manage difficult people. One thing is for sure though you will meet them time and time again.

This is another superb example of Generation Y-ner looking at the cover instead of actually reading the book for information. It doesn't matter how you find out about a problem. Whether you find out from your doctor testing and sympathetically telling you or from the burning sensation, yellow discharge, and girlfriend who won't return your calls: YOU STILL HAVE A PROBLEM EITHER WAY. And if you don't get it fixed because you don't like how you found out about it then you are being a baby. And nobody likes to do business with babies.

I deal with customer complaints daily and it has helped me alot in how I start a complaint with another company. Teaches me with how I want to present myself and how I want to be treated.
